Rakhiv (Рахів) → Blyznytsya (Близниця)
A demanding mountain route that begins at the Rakhiv valley floor at around 450 metres and climbs nearly 1900 metres to the Blyznytsya highland in the Maramureș Carpathians. The 23-kilometre trail passes through dense beech and conifer forest before emerging onto open ridge terrain near the 1870-metre summit area. The marked trail uses blue waymarkers (rwn); given the sustained ascent the route typically requires two hiking days.
